You'll check into your Luxor hotel that evening rather than driving back to Hurghada the same day. Day two starts before sunrise. A short pickup takes you to the launch site, where a licensed pilot flies you over Luxor's monuments and the Nile for roughly 45-60 minutes as the sun comes up — genuinely one of the better ways to see this stretch of the Nile valley, since almost nothing else here gives you the altitude.
